Student and Alumni of Yale

Who Helps Us

STAY benefits from the involvement, guidance, and/or resources of our on-campus and off-campus partners:

  • The Association of Yale Alumni (“AYA”: our founding partner) and the AYA Board of Governors
  • Two Yale Vice Presidents
  • Our wonderful financial supporters including:
    • A $10,000+ anonymous matching challenge
    • The generosity of dozens of alumni/ae donors
  • Yale’s 12 College Masters
  • Several graduate schools and their Deans
  • Yale’s Undergraduate & Graduate Career Services
  • Dwight Hall at Yale: Center for Public Service & Social Justice
  • The Yale Office of Development

Our central purpose, previously-lacking at Yale and Yale’s peers, sets us apart: our unique venues for unleashing student-alumni time and talent from three Yale communities (undergrads, graduate/professional students, and alumni/ae) as a way to form long-lasting, meaningful relationships. Our mission takes us far beyond New Haven. We aim to change lives–those of Yale students and alumni/ae, and those in places beyond Yale’s day-to-day reach.

We’re spilling over with horsepower, but still in the process of obtaining longer-term funding. We’ve achieved STAY’s existing progress - in areas such as Student Leadership Forums, Career Panels, and energizing the Yale Day of Service - without a single dollar of Yale funding. STAY now seeks to sustain leadership training, deploy a multi-tiered mentoring strategy, and to fund greater student participation in Yale’s national and global alumni volunteer initiatives.
